The tradition of celebrating the birthdays of our military service members dates back to 2014 – to the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, when wounded Ukrainian soldiers were receiving treatment in hospitals in Hamburg.
This meaningful tradition, which has continued for more than ten years, is still alive today and is carried on as part of the activities of our organization, “Ukrainische Kameraden.” It is a symbol of support, gratitude, and care for those who have stood up to defend Ukraine.
